“I was deeply impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of Suki’s Singing Bowl Therapy Level 1 class. She has a gift for making complex academic concepts easy to understand and apply. With her extensive background in Buddhist studies (she holds a PhD in the subject) and her experience with various healing modalities, Suki has a deep understanding and a holistic perspective. This allows her to distill and refine the Singing Bowl method into a unique approach that is deeply rooted in the Siam Reiki tradition.Key Differences: Pure Singing Bowls vs. Singing Bowls Combined with Siam Reiki
– For those who practice Singing Bowls without Reiki, practitioners typically perceive the client’s issues through sound. However, this approach can be more tiring for the practitioner, as it requires channeling their own energy. It also demands a high level of focus to manage their own mental and emotional state to ensure that the client receives healing and peaceful energy.
– For those who have learned Siam Reiki, combining it with Singing Bowls enhances the cleansing and healing effects. It provides a more comprehensive approach to diagnosing and addressing blockages in the client’s four bodies (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) through the practitioner’s intuitive abilities and communication with Reiki Guides. Additionally, the practitioner feels more energized during the session due to the flow of loving/healing Reiki energy from the Reiki Guides through their body, into the bowl, and to the client. This ensures that the Reiki energy transmitted to the client is pure and balanced, unlike the 100% self-generated energy transmission in the pure Singing Bowl method. This unique combination is a hallmark of Siam Reiki, and one that I highly recommend. According to Suki, Reiki practitioners also have an advantage in using Reiki energy to cleanse the bowls and the space before and after the treatment more effectively than other purification methods.
